Intermixed with the paneled sides are several molded round stylized flowers. The exterior of this nice bowl is also colorfully decorated with designs coordinating with the interior design. There are three blue lines on the exterior foot ring and one blue line inside the foot ring. Bowl is also marked with unidentified cobalt blue Japanese calligraphy within the foot ring. The bowl is in excellent Estate condition with no chips, cracks or repairs.
There is some very minor wear to the gilded decoration and the gilt rim but nothing that detracts from the beauty of this gorgeous bowl. The bowl may reflect other very minor signs of wear commensurate with age. Measures 3 3/4" high and 8 3/4" in diameter.
